About Abide Daily
Abide in me, and I in you.
John 15:4
Abide Daily is a global home for everyday faith. We help believers in every nation stay close to God on ordinary days: the busy Monday, the long hospital wait, the night you can't sleep, the morning you don't feel like praying.
What you'll find here
- Today with God: a new Bible verse, a prayer and a reading every day. Start today.
- A free 30-day reading plan with a streak tracker, so you can build a daily Bible habit. See the plan.
- Bible verses for real life, gathered by topic and explained in plain language.
- In-depth Bible studies that walk through well-loved passages verse by verse.
- Prayers you can pray today, short, honest and rooted in Scripture.
How we write
Abide Daily is led by a practicing pastor who teaches Scripture to a local congregation every week, and every article is prepared under that pastoral oversight. We write the way a good pastor teaches: carefully, clearly and with care for the reader.
- Scripture first. We quote the King James Version, which is in the public domain, unless noted otherwise.
- For every nation. We write in simple English for readers around the world, whatever your church background.
- Honest and gentle. We write for people who are struggling, not for people who have it all together.
- Not a replacement for your church. Please stay connected to a local congregation. The Christian life is lived in community.
What we believe
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God; that God exists eternally as Father, Son and Holy Spirit; that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and rose again; and that every believer is called to love God and love their neighbour.
